A wealthy socialite and her friends were among the 11 people killed on Sunday when a private plane bringing them home from a Dubai bachelorette party crashed into an Iranian mountainside.
Mina Basaran, 28, from Turkey, is believed to have been aboard the private flight after throwing a bachelorette party in Dubai.
It was gathered that the flight which was heading to Instanbul in Turkey began to fail after the plane’s engine caught fire and crashed into the mountains of Iran.
Eight aboard the flight were passengers and three were crew members.
The plane was identified as a Bombardier CL604, tail number TC-TRB by Turkey’s Dogan News Agency.
