Sergio Ramos never can manage to stay out of the headlines, and after Tottenham Hotspur went three goals to the good against Real Madrid and the La Liga side looked like they were set to take second place in their Champions League group, not only were the Gerard Pique tweets doing the rounds, but the camera was also honing in on Ramos – and his facial expressions were there for all to see.
Cristiano Ronaldo also got a mention, with the forward huffing and puffing, and looking at everyone else like it was all their fault his side were losing – and while he may have got the consolation goal, he didn’t have a game to remember either.
It was brilliant for Tottenham Hotspur, who despite being the Harry Kane side, saw Dele Alli score two of their goals and Christian Eriksen score the third.
It was a night to remember for them, but a night to forget for Ramos, who’s personal highlight was a handbags moment with Moussa Dembele – and social media will not let him forget that in a hurry.
Best of Twitter
I would pay so much money to have a 4k slow motion video of Sergio Ramos falling down the stairs.

Mousa Dembélé correctly judging that that only way to make this funnier is by winding Ramos right up

Sergio Ramos needs to just light a few scented candles when he gets home.

Big fan of Dembele drop-kicking Ramos there.

We've all dreamt of kicking the shit out of Sergio Ramos before, only difference is Mousa Dembele just did it.

Extremely intrigued about the universe exploding if Alli and Ramos sh*t house against each other too much tonight.

Every neutral football fan is hoping Dembele does a Zidane-esque headbutt on Ramos

If our end of season highlights reel simply consists of a loop of Sergio Ramos morosely shaking his head in super slow motion, I'll take it.

Sergio Ramos as a defensive player is the biggest fraud of the whole 21st century.
