Real Madrid continued their excellent recent form in La Liga and the Champions League on Saturday.
Fresh from their aggregate victory over PSG, Real Madrid bagged a 2-1 La Liga win at Estadio Municipal de Ipurúa.
The hero of the hour was once again Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese superstar scored the opener on 34 minutes and the winner with just six minutes remaining.
Ramis had brought Eibar level on 50 minutes but they were caught out by Ronaldo, who is in crazy good form.
Ronaldo has now scored in seven games in a row in all competitions. And, has notched a whopping 13 goals in that time.
The Real Madrid talisman also has 33 goals for the season.
Sergio Ramos needed the toilet…
After the game, the talk has not been about Cristiano Ronaldo but dominated by Sergio Ramos.
It was a relatively quiet game for Ramos, who did not even get booked, which is somewhat of a rarity for the Real Madrid defender.
In the 73rd minute of the La Liga match, Ramos went missing from the pitch, and returned to the changing room.
By this time, Real Madrid had used all three substitutes and there was surprise in the stands as to why Sergio Ramos would leave his team mates at such a crucial time.
Ramos briefly spoke to the referee as he left the pitch. And, the Real Madrid man returned five minutes later.
