ENGLAND are being protected by an army of armed guards at their Russia World Cup training base in Repino.
The Three Lions will train at Stadium Spartak Zelenogorsk, six miles away from the forRestMix Club hotel they will stay at.
The small stadium is usually used for local tournaments and has a six-foot high wall surrounding its perimeter.
But England chiefs have reportedly ordered the height to be increased to 13 feet so that they can keep their tactics out of view from opponents and the media.
The Three Lions stars arrived in Russia six days ahead of their opening World Cup match.
When SunSport visited Zelenogorsk in November, it appeared to be a ghost town without any residents.
