Worrying photos of Kylian Mbappe have emerged online this evening, after the PSG starlet picked up an injury in France training.
Didier Deschamps’ Les Bleus’ squad are currently undergoing their final preparations ahead of this summer’s World Cup, with the 1998 champions set to get their campaign underway with a clash versus Australia on Saturday morning.
An update on the fitness concerns currently being faced by the French squad courtesy of L’Equipe earlier today revealed some worrying news for fans of Les Bleus, after it was confirmed that both Barcelona stopper Samuel Umtiti and Monaco full-back Djibril Sidibe were forced to sit out training due to respective injuries:

And the bad news has continued to pile up for Les Bleus this evening, after photos emerged of Kylian Mbappe writhing in pain on the ground at France training, following a challenge from Adil Rami:
The PSG star was reportedly heard letting out a loud scream following Rami’s challenge, with there having understandably been immediate widespread concern amongst supporters of Didier Deschamps’ men that one of their key figures could be set to miss some or even all of this summer’s Russian showpiece.
Mbappe has since taken to Twitter to post a hugely encouraging message, revealing that he is absolutely fine and that the problem he picked up was nothing more than a knock, before defending teammate Rami for his part in the incident:
